BetOnline reported four wagers totaling $113,500 on Colorado State +14.5 against Texas State on Thursday evening. The stakes kept coming on the same handicap while the price improved: $29,000 at -116, $28,750 at -115, $28,250 at -113 and $27,500 at -110.
Each listed wager would win $25,000 in profit if Colorado State covers. Together, that is a possible $100,000 profit and $213,500 return including the original stakes. Those are our calculations from the reported tickets, not a settled result or BetOnline’s net exposure after other customers’ bets. Colorado State–Texas State starts at 7 p.m. Central.
In Seahawks–Broncos, which follows at 7:15 p.m., BetOnline’s afternoon report put 87% of moneyline dollars on Seattle at -147 and 68% of spread money on Seattle -2.5. The book said it needed Denver, while noting that substantial action was still to come. Its total was closer: 51% of dollars backed under 40.5.
Caesars had drawn sharper action on Denver +3 and under 41.5 earlier Thursday, according to Patrick Everson’s report quoting the book’s Joey Feazel. That identifies the reported action at Caesars; it does not turn BetOnline’s money shares into a measure of professional betting.
At BetMGM, the total moved from an opening 42 to 41 in the morning and 40.5 by John Ewing’s afternoon report. That is a 1.5-point drop at this book. The report did not establish who caused the move or connect it to another sportsbook’s customers.
Caesars separately reported a New Jersey bettor staking $5,000 on Bo Nix to throw at least two touchdown passes at +170. A winning ticket would return $13,500 including the stake: $8,500 profit plus $5,000 back. That possible ticket payout is separate from Caesars’ overall position on the game.
