Where tonight’s money breaks from the bet count

DraftKings shows big gaps in Toronto, New Jersey and Nashville, plus East Carolina–UAB; Caesars’ Brewers–Dodgers money differs by market.

Toronto’s puck line stands out before tonight’s games: DraftKings reported 91% of that market’s money on Maple Leafs -1.5 at +200 against Buffalo, from just 31% of bets. The 6 p.m. Central game has a much closer moneyline split, with Toronto taking 54% of dollars on 77% of tickets.

Rangers–Devils, also at 6 p.m., shows why the markets need separate readings. New York drew 71% of DraftKings’ moneyline money on 61% of bets at +114. Yet New Jersey -1.5 at +180 attracted 83% of puck-line dollars from 25% of tickets. Those positions can reflect very different stakes and prices; they are not a single consensus on the winner.

East Carolina visits UAB at 6:30 p.m. DraftKings’ spread bettors favored UAB +5.5 by ticket count, 59% to 41%, but East Carolina -5.5 (-108) held 56% of the money. The underdog’s outright-win market looked different: UAB +170 had only 14% of moneyline bets but 34% of money. On the total, over 47.5 (-110) drew 86% of bets and 70% of dollars.

At 7 p.m., San Jose–Nashville offers another striking DraftKings gap: over 6.5 at +102 had 97% of total-market money despite 43% of bets. That is a majority of dollars on the side with fewer tickets.

Brewers–Dodgers NLCS Game 4 starts at 7 p.m. Caesars reported 78% of moneyline money on Milwaukee while Los Angeles had 50% of moneyline bets—a roughly even ticket split with heavily uneven dollars. The run line pointed the other way: Los Angeles held 67% of spread money while Milwaukee drew 54% of spread bets. Caesars did not give the prices or run-line handicap in that post.

These are separate DraftKings and Caesars snapshots. A money share above the bet share indicates a larger average stake on that side within the named book’s market; it does not establish professional action or an industry-wide position. Neither report gives the total dollars or number of wagers.
