Notre Dame leads BetMGM’s Saturday night spread money

BetMGM’s money and bet counts split on Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Wisconsin, with a separate Caesars report on the Irish.

Notre Dame -10.5 led BetMGM’s spread-money list in its 3:44 p.m. Central update. The Irish had 72% of the money but 46% of the bets against BYU. The Cougars +10.5 led by bet count, with 54% of bets and 28% of money.

Caesars also had more Notre Dame spread money than tickets in its 2:31 p.m. report: 83% of money against 54% of bets. In Caesars’ separate moneyline market, the Irish drew 88% of money and 83% of bets. Caesars gave no prices with those figures.

Wisconsin +1 drew 59% of BetMGM’s spread money against UCLA despite taking only 40% of bets. UCLA -1 had the other 60% of bets but 41% of money. BetMGM’s table showed the line moving from Wisconsin +3 to +1.

Oklahoma -6.5 had 62% of BetMGM’s spread money against Kentucky on 42% of bets. Kentucky +6.5 led in bet count at 58%, with 38% of money. The spread matched BetMGM’s opener.

Houston -4 drew 76% of BetMGM’s spread money and 66% of bets against Oklahoma State. The total was far more one-sided: over 61.5 had 96% of total money and 88% of total bets. Both the spread and total matched the opening numbers.

Miami -20 had 81% of BetMGM’s spread money and 76% of bets against Florida State, after opening -21. The total rose from 56.5 to 57.5, with 85% of money and 81% of bets on the over.

The spread gaps point in different directions: Notre Dame and Oklahoma led BetMGM’s money despite fewer bets, while Wisconsin drew more money against a UCLA lead in tickets. These are each book’s own figures at the stated times; they do not identify which bettors are sharp.

Florida State–Miami starts at 6 p.m. Central Saturday. The other four games start at 6:30 p.m.
